Kindle
Rebecca, do you like your kindle? Is it that much better than a print book? I'm just trying to figure out if it is worth getting one. Thanks for your input!

1000 White Women
I am enjoying the book immensely! I'm sort of thinking that we may end discussing the historical events surrounding the book rather than the text itself. It's a good story. May Dodd has a strong & straightforward voice. I get almost angry when she and the others consistently refer to the Cheyenne as savages. She has begun to process the discrepancies in her "civilized" world, but I wonder if it will occur to her to stop calling any culture that non-European uncivilized and savage.
